Advanced Tax Settings

If your Cojilio subscription was created before March 14th, 2022 please contact us ([e-mail]) to have your Advanced Taxes turned on.

How to: Turn on Advanced Tax Settings

Login to your Online Portal

• Click Settings > Company
• Turn ON "Activate Advanced Tax Settings"
• Click + Add Tax Rate or Flat Fee
• Add:
  • Country
  • Province/State
  • Tax/Fee Name (I.e.: GST, Sales Tax, Flat Fee)
  • Fee Amount
  • Tax Type
  • Added/Include to Price
• Click Save
• Select "Default on All Locations and any item with "Default Taxes & Fees" turned on"
  • This will automatically be set to default in your Location Tax Settings

Location Tax Settings

• Click Locations
• Select the location you wish to view Tax Settings in
  • Taxes created in the Company Settings will automatically be assigned to the Location
  • If you have multiple locations in different provinces/states, the Tax assigned to that province/state will be assigned to that location only
• Select "Default on All Locations and any item with "Default Taxes & Fees" turned on" if you would like the tax to be assigned to all services, add-ons, classes and packages
• Even if the default tax is set for all services, add-ons, classes and packages, you will still be able to change the tax settings on that service, add-on, class or package to have:
  • Default tax
  • No tax
  • One type of tax only
