Website Setup To-Do List

In order to publish your website, here is the general overview of everything on your to-do list. For #1, follow this help guide.

It is recommended to do your Website Setup on a Desktop or Laptop, not through your smartphone.

1. Setup your website general settings (in the Cojilio Online Portal) 
2. Create your Services & Classes (in the Cojilio Online Portal) 
3. Upload your Photo, Video, Blog and Promotion Posts (in the Cojilio Business App) 
4. Launch your website!

 #1 Setup Your Website General Settings

1. Login to your Cojilio Online Portal (https://online.cojilio.com)
2. Go to Settings > Website in the side menu

Select your Website Theme

Click Change Theme to select from 5 Website Themes

Each Theme has been designed to promote &v focus on a certain aspect of your business, for example, the theme "Photo Centric" is for a business that would like their Photo Galleries to be front & center on their website.

How Do I Know Which Theme Is Best For Me?

The best time to confirm that the theme you have chosen is best for you is after you have completed all your website setup (#1-3 on your to-do list above). Now that your Services and Media Galleries have been created, you can switch between themes to see how your content looks in each theme. A business with only 2 Blogs, for example, would not choose the Blog Centric Theme. 

Set your Domain

Your website subscription comes with a free Cojilio domain in the www.[yourbusinessname].cojilio.com format 

To set your Cojilio Domain:

1. Type your business name in the input line before the .cojilio.com 
2. Ensure that you are pleased with the URL you have chosen (in this example, beautybar.cojilio.com is the URL)
3. Click Update to submit your domain to be activated

You will receive an email confirmation once your domain has been activated!

 

Set your Company Name, Tag Line, Logo and Company Bio:

1.  Click Update to save your changes.
2. Click View Website to preview your saved changes

Add Slider Backgrounds

1. Click on a slider to upload an image for your slider background.
2. Images must be at least 1920 x 800px (or else it will be blurry on large screens) and in .jpeg format.
3. If you need help re-sizing your Slider Images, please email them to [e-mail].

If you upload a Slider Image that is too large, it will slow down your website and cause slow loads of the image.

Here are some online tools to compress images:

1. https://compressjpeg.com/
2. https://tinyjpg.com/

Slider images that leave room for your Company Name a Tagline text to show are optimal. Extremely busy slider images are not suggested for optimal website design.

1. Click Update to save your changes.
2. Click View Website to preview your saved changes

Set Website Colour Scheme

 Tip:

Select Dark Text (radio Button) if your Primary/Action Colour is a Light Colour. Select Light Text (radio Button) if your Primary/Action Colour is a Dark Colour. 

1. Click Update to save your changes.
2. Click View Website to preview your saved changes

Set your Top Menu & Footer Menu Colour Scheme

Tip:

Select Dark Text (radio Button) if your Footer Menu is a Light Colour. Select Light Text (radio Button) if your Footer Menu is a Dark Colour. 

1. Click Update to save your changes.
2. Click View Website to preview your saved changes
