Customers that are created in Clover must be imported or created in Cojilio. However, Clover client profiles and Cojilio client profiles will sync to avoid duplicates.
To clarify, if a customer exists in Clover, and then registers in Cojilio with the same email/phone that is on file in Clover, the profiles will be synced (so that a duplicate client account is not created in Clover). If the customer does not exist in Clover, and they make a payment through Cojilio, the customer profile will be created in Clover.
For example:
Scenario 1: If Jane Smith is in the Clover Client list with email jane@gmail.com and phone 416-123-4566, and then registers in Cojilio with email jane@gmail.com, and makes a payment through Cojilio, Cojilio will sync that profile to the existing profile in Clover (no duplicate).
Scenario 2; If Jane Smith is in the Clover Client list with email jane@gmail.com and phone 416-123-4566, but then registers in Cojilio with email janesmith@hotmail.com and makes a payment through Cojilio, a new client will be created in Clover for Jane Smith with her new email.
Scenario 3: If Jane Smith is not a client in Clover, and she registers and books an appointment in Cojilio but does not make a payment, she will not be created as a client in Clover.
