When an appointment is booked on behalf of a client, the deposit, full payment, or cancellation fee is bypassed, and the client is not required to add a Card on File. Clients will be required to add a Card on File if they are booking an appointment for a service that has a deposit, full payment or cancellation policy with credit card in Online Booking or the Booking App.
If the client does not have a Card on File, you are unable to charge them the deposit, full payment or cancellation fee until they are able to pay in person.
You can also instruct a client to add a Card on File in Online Booking or the Booking App, and charge them the deposit, full payment, or cancellation fee once they have done so.
