Did a client no-show on you, or did they cancel outside of your cancellation policy? Charge a client a cancellation fee for missed and cancelled appointments.
Login to the Cojilio Business App (iOS) / Cojilio Business App (Android)
- Go to the Appointment Details Screen of the appointment you need to cancel/mark as no-show
- Click "Cancel" to cancel the appointment and charge a Cancellation Fee
- The "Charge Cancellation Policy" popup will appear
- Select Yes to charge the cancellation policy
- Click "No-Show" to charge the cancellation fee and mark the client as a no-show (in their client profile No-Show Metrics)
- The "Charge Cancellation Policy" popup will appear
- Select Yes to charge the cancellation policy

Like ordering an Uber or booking a flight, luxury services that require a professionals time should also require a card on file for reservations.

Step 3: Set your Policy Fees in your Online Portal
Login to your Online Portal
- Click Services in the side menu
- Click on the service you wish to set a Cancellation Policy for
- Enter your Cancellation Time and Message
- Turn ON Credit Card Required
- Set your Cancellation Fee
- Click Update

Note: If Credit Card Required is turned OFF, clients will not be required to add a Card on File.

1. How do I charge the client?
In your Online Calendar or Cojilio Business App, click on the appointment and click the Cancel or No-Show button.
2. If a credit card is required to book, does that mean I have to turn on Deposits?
No, having Deposits On is not mandatory to use this feature.
3. Do ALL clients get charged this fee, or just the ones I choose?
Only the clients you choose to charge will be subject to the fee. When you mark a client as a No-Show, you will have the option to charge their card or not.
