You asked, we listened! You can now send out SMS campaigns to your customers through Cojilio!
SMS Campaigns can be sent to: Clients with a valid North American phone number on file that have opted-in to receive SMS notifications from Cojilio.
How to: Send an SMS Campaign
1. Login to your Online Portal:
2. Under the Marketing Tools section, click SMS Campaigns:
3. Create your customer recipient list:
3a. Select customers by category: Specific service, specific class, loyalty level, inactivity or all customers
3b. Select customers individually by search
3c. Upload a .CSV file of your SMS recipients
4. Compose your campaign message, enter your Campaign Name & enter your SMS message
- The Preview section will display a preview of your SMS message
- The Campaign Pricing section will display the total amount due for your SMS campaign
- Once you've paid, the SMS campaign will be sent out!
In the Cojilio Online Portal > Customers > Customer Profile: If the customer has opted OUT of SMS or SMS Notifications have been turned OFF for the customer (in Notification Settings) they will not receive the SMS campaign:
They will ONLY receive SMS’s from Cojilio if they have opted IN to SMS, shown here:
Important to note: An SMS Campaign will not automatically include your Business Name, Business ID, Online Booking Link or any direct Service/Class/Package URL's. If you want these details included in your SMS, you need to include it in your SMS message.
Example of a bad SMS Campaign:
SMS Campaign pricing:For each recipient, the first 160 characters sent will be charged at USD $0.06. For every additional 140 characters (or part thereof), an additional USD $0.03 will be added to the total amount due. If your message contains emojis or other nonstandard printable characters, then the first 70 characters sent will be charged at USD $0.06. For every additional 70 characters (or part thereof), an additional USD $0.03 will be added to the total amount due.
