Android Business App - New Features! (June 11, 2023 Release)

Cojilio Business App (Android) Sun June 11th, 2023 Update includes: 

  • NEW! Upload Media Posts. Upload photo, video, promo and blog posts for your clients to enjoy in their Cojilio Booking App. This update also includes the ability to schedule posts in advance (schedule for a future day & time) + viewing post history/activity.
  • NEW! Send Push Notifications. Send & schedule push notifications (app notifications) to your client list. Announce new services, promotions, last minute spots available, new blog posts, business updates, etc.

 

How to: Upload a Photo Post 

Login to the Cojilio Business App (iOS) / Cojilio Business App (Android)

  • Click the cojilio_ios-business_media-button.png icon to create a new Photo Post
  • Select & crop your desired image
    • Click Next:

  • In the Section dropdown, Select Photo
    • Add a Title
    • Add a Description
    • Optional: Organize this post within a Gallery
    • Add a Promo Code & URL Link
    • Automated Upload = Schedule when this post will be posted in your app

Promo Code & URL Link:

  • Enter a promo code and url link if this photo is associated with a promotion.
    • Example: If you are promoting 30% off a certain product with your promo code, the promo code link will direct the user to the website to purchase that product.

  • In the Section dropdown, select Photos.
  • Select the Album this post will be stored in (this is for your organization purposes only - clients will not see Album names)

Public or Private $:

  • This is only relevant for Cojilio Booking Subscriptions 
    • Select Public if this post is free for all app users to view.
    • Select Private and enter a price that users must pay to have access to this post. Enter a Price $ to access this post

Automated Upload:

  • Select a date and time for the photo to be posted. If you want this post to be posted immediately, leave this blank

 

How to: Post your new Media Gallery Post

  • Click Post when you are ready to post/schedule this post
  • When you create a media post, you will be given the option to send a push notification to your clients when the photo is posted!

How to: Upload a Video Post

Login to the Cojilio Business App (iOS) / Cojilio Business App (Android)

  • Click the cojilio_ios-business_media-button.png icon to create a new Video Post
  • Select & crop your desired cover image
    • Click Next:

    • Add a Title
    • Add a Video URL
    • Add a Description
    • Optional: Organize this post within a Gallery

  • Select & crop your desired image
    • Click Next:

    • Switch Expiry Date ON to set an expiry date for this promotion
    • Automated Upload = Schedule when this post will be posted in your app

  • Select & crop your desired image
    • Click Next:

    • Add a Title
    • Add the Description (full content of the blog post)
    • Optional: Organize this post within a Gallery
    • Add a Promo Code & URL Link
    • Automated Upload = Schedule when this post will be posted in your app
  • Click Post
    • When you create a media post, you will be given the option to send a push notification to your clients when the photo is posted!

How to: Send a Push Notification

Login to the Cojilio Business App (iOS) / Cojilio Business App (Android)

  • Click the cojilio_ios-business_media-button.png icon in the footer menu
  • Click the Push Tab
  • Create your announcement

  • Choose who to send it to & when:

  • Click Post to send

  • Automated Upload:

    • Select a date and time for the Push Notification to send. If you want the Push Notification to be posted immediately, leave this blank

How to: Edit an Existing Media Post

Login to the Cojilio Business App (iOS) / Cojilio Business App (Android)

  • The Home Screen will display your appointments, requests and consultations
  • Click the cojilio_ios-business_media-button.png icon to edit an Existing Post
  • Your recent photos from your camera roll will appear
  • Click on View Upload History / Existing at the bottom to edit a post

  • Once you've clicked View Upload History / Existing, your existing posts will appear as seen below
  • Select the Post you would like to edit
NOTE: Every section has the same editing process - for the sake of this example it will display editing an existing Photo.
  • Once you have selected the post you would like to edit, edit the post 
  • Click Update

  • After clicking Update, several pop-up messages will appear
    • Post: Click Confirm to publish the post you edited
    • Updated: This is a confirmation your post was updated, click OK to continue 
    • Send a Push: This is to let people know your post was edited, and is optional
      • Click No, thank you if you do NOT wishto send a push notification
      • Click Yes if you DO wish to send a push notification

How to: Delete a Media Post

Login to the Cojilio Business App (iOS) / Cojilio Business App (Android)

  • Click the cojilio_ios-business_media-button.png icon to view your Upload History / Existing 
  • Slide left on the post you wish to delete 
    • Click Delete
  • Click "yes, delete"
    • A "successfully deleted" pop-up will appear
