NEW! How to Setup 1:1 Equipment (1 equipment per person or 1 equipment per group booking) – Cojilio Help Center

We launched a new setting to manage Equipment on Group Bookings!

You can now choose between 1:1 Equipment Setting or 1:Group Equipment Setting, depending on if your equipment is for 1 person or for the entire group.

1:1 Person Equipment Setting:

Equipment example: VR Headsets, Booths, Golf Simulator, Showers, etc.

1 Equipment Per 1 Person: There should be 1 equipment assigned for each person in the Group Booking.

Example: If you have 6 VR Headsets, and someone books a Group Booking of x3 participants, 3 VR Headsets will be assigned for the 3 participants, and there will be 3 remaining. Once there are 6 bookings, another client will be unable to book for the same timeslot, since all 6 VR Headsets are in use.

This setting is set on your Equipment settings: Business Portal > Equipment

1:1 Group Equipment Setting:

Equipment example: Studio, Room, Multi-Person Indoor Golf Simulator, Multi-Person Bowling Lane

1 Equipment per 1 Group Booking (multiple people): There should be 1 equipment assigned per each Group Booking (multiple people). Someone books a group booking of 4 people for a bowling lane - it is not 1 lane per person, it is 4 people in 1 lane.

Example: If you have 6 Golf Simulators, and someone books a Group Booking of x6, 1 Golf Simulator will be assigned for the 6 person Group Booking, and there will be 5 Golf Simulators remaining available for 5 more groups of 6 to be booked.

This setting is set on your Equipment settings: Business Portal > Equipment

How to: Create 1 Equipment Per 1 Person

Click Equipment in the side menu
Click Add Equipment

Set the Equipment Name
Set the Equipment Quantity
- Example: 6 VR Headsets
Assign it to a Location
Assign it to users who the equipment can be assigned to
If 1 equipment is required per 1 person (1 for each participant), select "1 Equipment Per 1 Person"
Click Save

Once the General section has been updated, the "Resource Availability" and "Manufacturer Details" sections will display
Set your Equipment Availability
Optional: Fill out the Manufacturer Details section

How to: Set Group Booking on a Service

Click Services in the side menu
Click on the service you wish to set Group Booking on

Select the "Group Booking Options" tab
Toggle ON "Is this a multi-quantity service?'

Enter the Quantity Prompt Label
- Example: "Group Bookings"
Enter the Quantity Prompt Message
- Example: "Enter the number of participants you will be adding to this booking"
Enter your Minimum Quantity
- Example: If Minimum Quantity is set to 1, a person can book for just themselves
Enter your Maximum Quantity
- Example: If Maximum Quantity is set to 10, a person can add up to 10 people to their booking
Toggle ON Price By Quantity if you want the price to increase when a participant is added
- Example: 1 person = $100 (price of service). 2 people = $200 (price of service for 2 people)
Toggle ON Allow Mixed Customers if you want multiple clients to be able to book for the same timeslot
Click Update

How to: Set 1 Equipment Per 1 Person on a Service

Click Services in the side menu
Click on the service you wish to set 1 Equipment Per 1 Person on

Select the "Resources" tab
Under the Equipment section, assign the Equipment you wish to assign to the service
Set the Required Quantity to the required quantity per person
- Example: If you have 6 VR Headsets, set the Resource Quantity to 1. If someone books a Group Booking of x3 participants, 3 VR Headsets will be assigned for the 3 participants
Click Update
